The idea behind the design is great, although I really doubt the quality will cut it on MT.
~*I think your well on your way with this wallie.
Great idea but it's a little bland.....although that might be the thing that adds to it.
~*The shadow should have more depth to it and less blurriness
The image in the glass/pond should be higher in quality so that it doesn't unbalance the pic.
~*Keep up the good work !

Custom Userpage Layout Tutorial for Paint Shop Pro

This url will bring you to a MT imfo site that may help you with how to use ur paint shop.

f

They normally reject wallies because they are not up to their quality standards. Because of the vast amount of wallpapers that are created, MT staff are pretty picky when it comes to keeping wallpapers.

f

Great use of colours and it blends quite nicely
~*neat pattern used....it gives the feeling of a pile of leaves as a background
The writing should be done in a different colour so that it stands out more and is less hard to read.
~*Nice detail in the leaves of the background although it would be great if the leaf prints stood out more.
~*As you learn more creative ways to improve your wallie, you could add more effective background techniques to enhace the wallie.
~*Great work and keep it up!

Shiva is awsome but so is Ixion......powerful yet majestic. Great thread btw, never thought of that. (well.....maybe once....or twice *hehe*)

Quote by KinezumiI have been told by a few different people that the two most difficult languages to learn to use is English and Japanese. What language do you think is the hardest to learn to speak and understand and everything?

My background is french and I have been taught for almost every year of school in my life to speak that language, but I still have never been very good at it. I have heard that french is supposed to be pretty easy to learn. If that was hard for me, then, to me, I think others would be impossible to learn.

I have to agree that english seems to be a hard language to grasp, but I only take that from others, since I started to learn english by the age of 2. French seems hard to learn as well, because of all the tenses and how you must know when to use what tense and what verb.

Quote by Oyazi I am fluent in both Japanese and English...and I would never say that they are similar :\ ...not a bit. But I agree with u Japanese is easier than Chinese. But imo its because of simplicity of Japanese grammar, easy pronunciation and the fact that Japanese has an alphabet in addition to kanji (which are basically Chinese characters).

I think you're right, Japanese doesn't seem too hard and as long as you have the desire to learn it and it's even easier is you know Chinese.

Personally, I believe that the languages vary in difficulty depending on what your first language is and how closely it relates to the next language you want to learn. It helps a lot if you are in that environment so that you exposed to that environment for a long period of time so that your instnct tells you to adjust. Age is a big factor as well, as the older you get, the harder it is to retain new information. At a younger age you could learn a language much faster than you could than if you were forty. Although I'm Chinese and know the language quite thouroughly, generally I think that the Asian languages are harder to learn because instead of using letters, you must also learn a whole to way to write "words" (unless you were born in an asian community, where it is easier to pick up other asian dialects).

I usually like the manga better than the anime, mostly because of the graphics, but in this case I haven't even watched the anime.

f

I personally dislike having photos taken of me because I look horrible in pictures, although by now I think i'm pretty used to it 'cause there's really no escaping a camera.

I agree, defenitely PS2, although I haven't had time to try out the other types of consoles.

Quote by Shadowdawnmy worst hair crisis.........that would be grade eight graduation. We went to the stupid hair dressers, and the person spoke no english, so i wanted it curled in ringletts, but he straightened it instead! I was like 2 minutes away from being late for my own grad, after we had to spend another hour on getting it curly again........and on top of that, it fell flat in 2 hours!

Oh wow...that must not have been a very good hair day, especially on your grad night! Next time, we need to make sure that the hairdresser speaks your language :) Did you miss grad?

Quote by ShinobiHimeOkay listen to this...when i was about 12, I had a dread lock the size of my fist in the back of my head near the nape of my neck. I have really long hair and my brush had broken so i got lazy for a while and didnt brush it.... just ran my fingers though it...but, yeah...always brush long hair all the way through. We ended up having to cut it out. >.< not a fun hair day.

OMG, that happened to me once, when my hair got all tangly after not brushing it *hehe* I had to get my dad to brush my hair for one hour before we got it out. It's too bad you have to cut it. My hair is really long too and I haven't gone to the hair dresser to get it cut in almost a year. Sometimes its even worse when ur parents cut it tho.

f

For me, It was that bowl cut from when I was like in Grade 5. I'm not very adventurous with my hair, but one of my friend had his head shaved because he got cement stuff in his hair (it was really short anyways, but that's gotta be the worst one I've heard of, especially if it was a girl).

f

Who's your favourite if they were to go head on? Ranma or Himura?

Hmmm.... well I have to say this one is a hard one for me. Personally I would say Ranma , cause he has mad martial arts skills (yes, I am a hand to hand combat fanatic). Its your choice!

Quote by shenmuesyI believe the deep place in heart exists the eternal comity .

This is a really interesting phrase......what exactly do you mean though?

f

This question just randomly popped into my head while i was arguing with my parents about how hard i want....what i want to strive to be.....about how you should be the best you can be. I was wondering, if nobody is perfect, then how do u define perfectionism? then that made me think about ppl in general. If nobody is the same, then where is the norm?

This boggles me....hope you can make sense of it.

f

i wonder if ffx 7 is out in english?
~*if it is then where can u buy it!?
as u can tell, im rather a ffx fan...also cause i havent played any other rpg games
can anyone recomend good ones that last longer than a week
~*both my fffx and ffx2 were done in a week....yes..i was quite addicted

Quote by thelunarmageI'm a bit more of a carnivore than an omnivore. If I had to survive as a herbivore I think I'd waste away. It's a very interesting thread you've started moveurbodygirl. Some of my friends are definitive carnivores and often ponder the mysteries of why traditionally based meat dishes get turned vegetarian, ie. the humble lasagne. It traditionally has meat in it, that's why it's called lasagne, so why did people have to make a vegetarian lasagne??? Couldn't they have called it something else? Lasagne has meat you shouldn't be able to call it vegetarian lasagne, it's just wrong. Okay I'm raving now so I'll stop. XD

OMG! that is actually so true! i've never thought about it this way before..
~*well, i guess its because there are more people that r trying to watch their weight now and how heathly they eat, so they make all those veggie, low-fat lasagna
~*i like meat lasagna the way it is..mmmm......

Quote by HoltMy favourite foods include both meat and vegetables so I love both apart from celery. God I hate that stuff. But my favourite food group would be seafood by far. Tempura mmmmmmm

immmmm....mmmm.....seafood....my fav too!
~*my dad makes the best fried shrip...and white fish...and....lobster....mmmm...and CRAB!
yah...now im getting too hungry, and its 10 : 17 at night....i think i'll go veggie and get a corn on the cob

f

I've been wondering why some people are veggitarians and why some people eat meat.
~*my friends have been debating this recently and i was wondering about it too? How many people are veggies/meatloverS?
can u guys help me out?
~*i myself am inbetween...i dont care...i luv veggies and meat the same.

f

LOL seems like a lot of u dont really like DST ^.^
~*went to school today and our first period teacher was late....dunno how he managed to forget about DST for one whole day!
~*he got called down to the office later ....hehe....NOT good

Quote by CadiI think true friends really exsits but they are rare. Sometimes when a old friend dosen't really hang out with you anymore, and you might think that she dosen't like you anymore, but its really because you grew apart and can't really connect anymore. Don't worry even though you are arguing it will turn out better^^

thank you so much for your kind words~*much appreciated

Quote by Ayamaelthe only answer that makes sense to this question is : only time will tell...
i wish i could say friendship lasts forever, and while there are some friendships that do, there are others that don't... it's sad to say, but that's how it is...
i lost contact with plenty of friends with time, it doesn't mean i don't remember them, they all left their mark in me, and i think about them really often, but there are things that weren't meant to last... sometimes it's because of a fight, sometimes it's because you just lose contact, and sometimes, it's simply because 2 people change over time and they drift apart... it's just how life is...

sometimes i really wish ppl wouldnt change...s that things can stay the same....so our friendship would last forever...and ur right....it is life....but the memories will stay with u

f

Quote by LastDinosaurTrue freinds are hard to find, someone who likes exactly what you want all the time is rare. I have a lot of freinds, and sometimes we drift apart. Although we dont like the same things anymore, I can still talk to them.. I try not to get in arguements with them, but it happens. True freinds are people who will still stay freinds even if your likes and dislikes change.

but....do they exist? is there anyone out there that will truly be faithful?
~* i'm not asking for someone that will understand me completely, but a friend that i can turn to with no doubt in my mind that she will be true to me
~*thank you so much for your insights..
very much appreciated^.^
